Getting further behind on T2 somehow. I think it is the weather.

Reading the blogs this morning found some interesting news on Whidbey concerning new refactoring tools in Stephen Forte's Blog and Serge van den Oever's blog sounds like some really useful stuff. Suresh Behera gives a good discription of some of the new features coming in his blog.

Found some interesting statistics on how .Net is being adopted this morning in Benjamin Mitchell's blog which I came across in the PDC Bloggers Site Another good link I found this morning is ASP.Net's site on Whidbey with some interesting white papers to download (for train reading)

Monday of a 4 day work week

Short week for me this week. I am finally going to turn the keys of my Gloucester apartment over on Friday (Halloween). I think I should try and do it first thing in the morning before the Halloween rush starts on Salem.

Today is a T2 day and class day. Got to move my changes to stagging so Melissa can test this afternoon. Going to help Renee setup asp.net on a server at 10am.

Got to start grading homework earlier this week, it sucks staying up late on Sunday just to finish my grading.

It has been a while since I have made any entries...

This week I started a blog at work and have been updating it regularly throughout the day, but of course it is internal only. When I built the blog at work I thought other people would be interested in keeping blogs too. But so far - not really. I don't think they are there yet.

So I am thinking of shopping around for a blogsite that allows comments to be made and using an internet blog (forget the internal if no one else is interetsted) - besides the first thing that seems to come to mind is that I have too much free time.

On to what has been going on...

On a personal note
Moved from Gloucester, MA to Salem, MA. Now I only have a 30 minute train ride everyday (instead of an hour). I haven't had too much of a chance to get out in Salem yet so I think I like it. I really like the new apartment - much bigger. Had to buy a router and a printer server to get everything set up the way I wanted it.

Not so personal note
I think I am about one day behind on the T2 project. At the start of the week we were on schedule, but somehow we have slipped. This weekend I am planning on getting at least one page done, which should about catch me up (after I get my homework graded that is). Class is going well. I think some students are starting to realize that Dave wasn't kidding when he states 'There are 11 assignments. These are designed to take approximately 20 hours of work for the median student in this class. Keep in mind that whatever the median time turns out to be, exactly half of you will take longer.' on the class' homepage.

The assingment the students are now working on is ASP.Net. It seems that a small portion of the students ever did anything with ASP, so it should be interesting to see how they handle this one. The next one is also ASP.Net.

I have been reading the blogs today and have started to wish I had gone to the PDC, it sounds like a really cool conference to go to. Maybe I'll make it to the next one.
